Here we have a real grandfather bowl – turned from a single solid piece of wood and treated with several coats of Danish Oil until it was completely saturated and beautiful. The surface is smooth and pleasant, and the wood is allowed to be exactly what it is: warm, living, and natural.
The bowl is about 30 cm in diameter, and fits just as well on the kitchen table as in the living room. Use it as a cheese platter, fruit bowl, or simply leave it out as a small everyday pleasure. It is food-safe, easy to wipe clean, and will develop an even more beautiful glow over time.
