Black turned decorative vase – handmade and decorated with a gold pattern
This is one of the vases grandpa makes when he wants to enjoy himself a little extra in the workshop. Something like this doesn't happen in five minutes – it involves precision, patience, and a good dose of coffee.
The vase is hand-turned from wood, painted black, and then varnished in several layers to achieve that deep, clean shine. At the top, it has a thin and elegant opening, just large enough for a single blade of grass, a small flower – or simply nothing at all. Some things look best entirely on their own. Approx. 18 cm in diameter and approx. 11 cm high.
The gold pattern is hand-drawn and applied, giving the vase a calm, warm feel without being ostentatious. It fits nicely on a side table, in the windowsill, or as a small eye-catcher on a shelf – preferably alone, or with other small treasures.
